Emergency First Aid - Outdoors (face to face training delivered by Mountain Xperience)

Course cost: £75 members/£100 non members

Venue: Llandudno Ski & Snowboard Centre, Llandudno

Course Information:

This introductory one-day (8 hour) emergency outdoor first aid qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to respond to a range of emergency outdoor situations including when and how to move a casualty, major illnesses and injuries, administering CPR, managing an unresponsive casualty and dealing with wounds and bleeds.

The course is useful for anyone spending time in the outdoors including outdoor professionals and employees who work in rural or remote environments. It enables successful candidates to undertake the role of the First Aider when emergency medical assistance could be more than 30 minutes away.

1. The duration of this course is approximately eight hours including breaks

1. The minimum age to attend is 14 years old, under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

This is required training for anyone wishing to be licenced as a coach or instructor and should be updated or renewed every 3 years. Sucessful candidates will receive a certificate as well as an outdoor first aid book etc...
